Activities after the sudden firing on #Darbar_Sahib by BSF and CRPF on June 1, 1984:
1) 11 Sikhs from the Sangat including Mahinga Singh of Babbar Khalsa and Bhai Ram Singh of Damdami Taksal were martyred.
2) With this firing, a #war was scheduled to take place and the militant groups started preparing for the afternoon of June 1.
3) General Sabeg Singh inspected the Akal Takht Sahib and the adjoining buildings and fronts and made appropriate alterations.
4) Militants blockade the 18th century bunkers.
5) The Sikh Student Federation seized Guru Ram Das Saran and the water tank and laid siege to it.
6) Morcha Bandi was also finalized at Guru Ram Das Langar.
7) Morchas were taken over by Akal Guest House, Baba Atal Rai and Guru Nanak Niwas.
3-4 3-4 storey buildings adjacent to Darbar Sahib were evacuated by militants and fronts were closed.
