Sikh Army officers fighting for the Indian Army during Operation Blue Star
The Hindu rulers enlisted the services of as many so-called Sikh generals as possible for this attack (Operation Blue Star) and its associated military operations on the Golden Temple, in order to convince the world that there was something against the Sikhs in their minds. Not filth or bad feelings and a large section of Sikhs are in favor of their action: –

1 … Lieutenant General Nirankari Ranjit Singh Dayal was made the Chief Operator of the entire operation and Chief Security Adviser to the Governor of Punjab.
2 … Major General Kuldeep Singh Brar was assigned to lead the attack on Shri Darbar Sahib Ji.
3 … Major General JS Jamwal took charge of military operations in Amritsar, Batala and Gurdaspur. His wife was the chairperson of the Red Cross at the time, which is why the Red Cross also delayed the removal of the corpses to Darbar Sahib.
4 … Major General Tarlok Singh was given charge of Doaba area.
5 … Major General Shamsher Singh to Tarn Taran, Patti, Ludhiana, Charge of Ferozepur and Zira was handed over.
6 … Major General Gurdial Singh, who was in charge of Patiala, Sangrur, Bathinda, Ropar and Faridkot, led a bloody attack on Gurdwara Sri Dukh Niwaran Sahib, during which 56 Sikh pilgrims were killed. .
