Diamond Thoughts

Built on the Sino-Mongolian border, Erenhot or Erlian, features two super gorgeous and super tall statues of Brontosauruses. The towering statues of dinosaurs or the arch of the kissing dinosaurs was built back in the year 2007 on either side of the main highway.

It was built to introduce the world about the destination’s reputation as a fossil hub. What’s fascinating is their tall necks that stretches to the other and then there’s a point where the mouth of these two meet which looks exactly like they are kissing each other. It’s absolutely cute and interesting at the same time.

Both the statues are 34 meters wide and 19 meters high and together reaches 80 meters. Another interesting fact about the place is that the ground below the kissing dinosaurs is dotted with several other dinosaur statues, in all shapes and sizes.
