Today, if we take a bird’s eye view of the life span of our ten Sikh kingdoms, it is clear that in the time of Guru Sahibs, all Sikhs did not regret the past or worry about the future, but understood the laws of nature and took advantage of the present. He used to live his life in a smooth manner while using it. They did not waste their present precious time in the cycle of finding a god other than themselves. He was united with Prabhu Eku (1), who is currently using the natural laws as “Karan Karan”, he understood, he saw “Aad Sachu Jugaadi Sachu” pervading inside and around him. They did not die in remorse for the past or worries about the future.
Because of doing, the Lord is one and there is no other.
Nanak tisu baliharnai jali thali mahiali soi.
It was just the reign of their rising sun. If the smiles on the faces of our Sikhs are missing today, if the faces of our Sikhs are withered, depressed, the only reason is that today we are living our lives in remorse for the past and worries about the future. Wasting precious present time. Today we do not have oneness with “Karan Karan Prabhu Ek”. We are wandering in the cycle of finding some of that imaginary God of the priest. Who lives in a Sach Khand far away from us. We have the illusion that God can fulfill our incomplete Trishnaava by solving our present problems, removing our physical pains by offering our prayers and taking the oaths of lessons.Aware preachers and narrators, including Sikh priests, scholars and hypocrites, have misled the Sikh community in the desert of the same Mrig Trishna in the name of religion. In which Mirg wanders in the illusion of water and in the end the poor man dies of thirst. Aren’t we also falling prey to the mirage of wandering in the illusion of a god other than us? The main cause of the present plight of the Sikh community is a fictitious God of the priestly system apart from us. Which has given us the disease of living in the past and the worries of the future.
While Gurbani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji provides a life test to take care of and enjoy the present to keep us in Chaddi Kala forever. Gurbani inspires us to acquire knowledge and become thinkers in order to take advantage of the present time. A very lovely and clear example of such a Gurmat Jivan investigation we find in a Shabad of Asa Raag of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji. In that Shabad, Guru Nanak Sahib Ji Maharaj has explained the life test to Bharthir Jogi and has instructed his Sikhs to take care of the present as well. But we realized that perhaps this teaching was given by the Guru only to the Jogia and not to us. There is a Punjabi saying, “Daughter, listen and listen.” It means that the mother-in-law speaks to her daughter but she also gives advice to her daughter-in-law. In the same way Guru Nanak Sahib Ji Maharaj also spoke about this wisdom even though it is for the jogia but he also gave this teaching to his Sikh family so that they can take advantage of the present time and be proud to be a sehaj jogi. To feel The yogis and priests used to rub the body on the body (the ashes of the past) and put it in the throat for the union of the imaginary God. Holding a khapar and a cane in their hands, they used to fill their pockets by begging. Guru Sahib Ji Maharaj said to him, “O Jogi, if you want to practice true Sehaj Jog, then fill your Hirda-like pocket with the begging of thought, then throw the wooden stick in your hand and grab the stick of knowledge and make your present life successful.” In order to do this, start enjoying and caring for the present day on your body from today onwards.
Bhai Gurdas Ji also explains to us in his verses that Sikhs in the present time, according to the laws of nature, should do their best to enjoy and know every phenomenon of causation;
Currently used sleep permit.
Whatever the cause, let it be accepted. Thank you.
If Sikhs today are sad — if the faces of Sikhs are withered, if the traces of the rising art on their faces are lost, then the main reason is that we get caught up in the circle of the imaginary God of the priest and take care of the present And the Gurmat life we enjoy is broken from the test. In the regrets of the past and worries of the future, we are wasting our lives in vain as the yogis were doing. However, according to Gurbani, we had to acquire Gurmat Gyan in the present time and achieve the state of Chad Di Kala by uniting with the Omnipresent True God.
Gurbani teaches that in the present life alone, by meeting that Eternal, you too can become a partner of that Omnipresent. He is not only present everywhere, in every creature in the form of “Sabhu Gobind Hai Sabhu Gobind Hai” but is also manifestly visible. We can achieve Chaddi Kala by uniting with Him by making efforts today;
“Aaju Milawa Sheikh Farid Takim Kunjaria Manhu Machindaria.”
“Tuku damu karari jao karahu hajir hajuri khudai ..”
“Nanak ka patshahu disai jahra”.
It is clear from the above evidence and discussion that if we want, we can bid farewell to the sadness of our collapsing faces today and invite the rising art with smiles, happy smiles. But the condition is that we have to have the courage to bury the regrets of the past and the worries of the future and start a new life by embracing the present and enjoying the Gurmat Jeevan. You can give it a try.
