His daughter Jasbir Kaur says that … on June 3, 1984, when Dad and his friends left home, I was in eighth grade … coming home halfway through school … I saw a lot of people in the village.  He was leaving his house and going to Amritsar in full glory … I ran after him doing Papa / Papa … His partner said “Baldev Sia” your daughter is coming behind … He loved me very much because I  She had an only daughter … She came back as soon as she left, took me in her arms, hugged me and said, “Son, let’s go home … I didn’t know that meeting her was the last time I met her … on June 3.
