Are You a Warrior?  If so, what kind?

Who are the heroes?Different communities around the world will define a ‘warrior’ or warrior in their own way.  But who does Guru Granth Sahib Ji consider as “Surme”?  This is a profound but simple explanation.

 Bhagat Kabir Sahib Ji uses the most thought provoking and widely used verses in Gurbani

 Often this verse is used to describe a real warrior who fights a battle.  But it can be used to describe any ordinary person.Being on the battlefield is not the same as fighting.  This life is a real battle in itself.

Life’s difficulties make us weak or strong.  If we are weak we lose, if we are strong we are considered warriors.

It depends on the severity of the problem and the personality and attitude of the person who experienced it

We can be strong mentally, emotionally and physically depending on what kind of difficulties we face.  That is why training in the army is very strict.  It makes you stronger

Therefore, a person who has faced many difficulties in life is often smarter and can come up with better solutions to the problems.

 This is the true meaning of a warrior given to us by Gyan Guru.
